Awarded as one of Sweden's hottest technology companies for the second time

For the second time, Spectronic Medical has been awarded as one of Sweden's 33 hottest technology companies. The award was given by technology newspaper NyTeknik and business newspaper Affärsvärlden on an event at A-house in Stockholm on 16 May 2018. "We are very proud to receive this award again, and it proves how important the work that we do is", says Carl Siversson, CEO of Spectronic Medical. Spectronic Medical has developed an AI platform that enables multiple AI based applications for radiotherapy, including the ability to use MRI as the primary imaging modality for radiotherapy treatment planning.

Spectronic Medical is happy to announce that the on-going clinical implementation of MRI Planner for prostate radiotherapy at Skåne University Hospital is progressing as planned. Treatment has now been successfully delivered to a first set of 30 patients, with another 30 patients planned during the spring of 2018.
