Spectronic seminar at the IPEM 2018 meeting in York

In an invited seminar at the IPEM (Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine) annual meeting, Spectronic Medical CEO Dr. Carl Siversson
will hold a joint presentation together with Dr. Hazel McCallum from NCCC (Northern Center for Cancer Care) in Newcastle. In the presentation
the ongoing joint work between Spectronic Medical and NCCC on implementing MRI only radiotherapy planning in clinical practice in the
UK using Spectronic MRI Planner will be detailed.
The seminar will be held on September 18 at the IPEM annual meeting at the York Racecourse in York, UK.

Awarded as one of Sweden's hottest technology companies for the second time

For the second time, Spectronic Medical has been awarded as one of Sweden's 33 hottest technology companies. The award was given by technology newspaper NyTeknik and business newspaper Affärsvärlden on an event at A-house in Stockholm on 16 May 2018. "We are very proud to receive this award again, and it proves how important the work that we do is", says Carl Siversson, CEO of Spectronic Medical. Spectronic Medical has developed an AI platform that enables multiple AI based applications for radiotherapy, including the ability to use MRI as the primary imaging modality for radiotherapy treatment planning.

First 30 patients successfully treated using MRI Planner

Spectronic Medical is happy to announce that the on-going clinical implementation of MRI Planner for prostate radiotherapy at Skåne University Hospital is progressing as planned. Treatment has now been successfully delivered to a first set of 30 patients, with another 30 patients planned during the spring of 2018.
